1. Delete one letter
Go to My letters, open the ⋮ menu on the letter and choose Delete. Its link stops working at once. The letter and its files are removed permanently after 30 days.
To stop guests seeing a letter only for a while, use Pause instead.
2. Delete your account
- Sign in and open Account & security (open it).
- Scroll to Delete account and confirm with your password (or type DELETE if you sign in with Google only).
This permanently deletes:
- your profile and sign-in details, including a linked Google account;
- all your letters — every link stops working — with their photos, music and share images;
- guest lists, RSVPs and wishes on your letters;
- your token wallet and unused tokens, notifications and support tickets.
It cannot be undone. Copies in our backups disappear within 14 days. Records we must keep by law (for example payment records, once online payment starts) are kept only as long as required.
3. Signed in with Google?
Deleting your Kathu account also removes the link to your Google account. You can also remove Kathu’s access from your Google Account under Security → Third-party apps.
4. Can’t sign in?
Email vipzlab@gmail.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We confirm it’s you and delete it within 7 days.
5. Guests
If you replied to an invitation and want your RSVP or wish removed, ask the host, or write to us with the letter’s link and your name.
